As much as I indulge in my fangirlism, any self-respecting geek would say that they have at least a couple of things in their closet or among their accessories to represent the fandoms that they’re a part of, and I’m no different. I’ve got a number of jewelry, t-shirts and snap backs that essentially scream “fangirl”, but I’m always on the lookout for more… Innovative ideas. And what’s more innovative (and cute) than repping your fandoms in your makeup bag? Here are just a few of our favourites!

Lipsticks:

Miyazaki Lip Tints

Anyone who’s a fan of the Miyazaki films can now have a piece of them in your purse while keeping your lipsticks moisturised! These are wonderful to have on hand because, one, I always seem to be running out of lip balm, and two, the absolutely adorable cartoon prints remind me that I still have yet to watch the rest of Miyazaki’s filmography.

Time & Relative Dimension in Space

Remember our blue lipstick series? Get ready to rep both the colour and your inner Doctor Who geek! Aptly named after the TARDIS, the gorgeous hue serves as a reminder that you don’t need River Song’s hallucinogenic lipstick to stun someone!

Eye shadows:

The Marauders, Mugwumps and Muggles Collection

Whether you identify as a Marauder, cunning and rebellious, a Mugwump, with (imaginative) political powers or even as a Muggle (although, let’s be real, none of us do), these eye shadows are ready to represent any of the above!

The Seven Kingdoms Collection

If you’re still devastated about the fact that you might have to wait until 2019 for the final season of Game of Thrones, perhaps wearing these beautiful colours on your eye lids may have to alleviate the pain.

(I joke. There are very few torture devices other than the wait of a next season for a beloved show for any geek out there.)

Eyeliner:

Storybook Cosmetics Quill & Eyeliner

Ever wanted to use a quill but didn’t know when it would be practical? We have the perfect answer for you! Instead of writing on parchment paper (which isn’t easily available), you can draw the perfect cat’s eye on your eyelids. Plus, the fact that you actually own a workable quill is half of the satisfaction.

Makeup Brushes:

What’s In A Name Rose Brushes

Brushes that are as soft as petals and look like roses? Gimme, please! Live out your fantasies of being Belle as you contour, highlight, and blush to your heart’s content with these lovely brushes. Or, if you don’t have the heart to actually use these on your face, you can always place them in a glass vase on your vanity table in place of actual roses. At least these won’t wilt.
